One of San Diego’s only indoor shopping centers, this three-story mall features some of the most popular stores. Its anchor stores are JC Penney, Macy's, Nordstrom and Sears. The corridors are lined with kiosks and the cool air-conditioned atmosphere is a refreshing relief during the summer heat. North County is also a short drive from Safari Park.

Even though I HATE shopping, if I need to go to a mall, I really don't mind this place. Plenty of shopping options, plenty of parking and the fact that the mall is indoors. Yeah, we live here in California so the outdoor options aren't all that bad but there are times when all of you wished you were indoors when we get that occasional "storm watch".
Of course as with any mall, you're taking your chances by going during holiday season. This place is not the exception as parking gets scarce and the crazies come out in full force. Also, the way the freeway access is to this mall can make it somewhat problematic at times with all the traffic.
Plenty of stores to choose from as well as many options through the food court.
As far as malls go, this place isn't a bad option. However I would suggest avoiding malls at all costs if possible. Ok, that is the man in me talking.

Being a new mother, I have learned that I need to know where all the restrooms are at all times because my little baby's diaper can go at any minute.
I have to say that the family room at this mall is SO AWESOME!
It's got a great area for changing diapers. It's a counterspace with dips in it to set the baby in. It's a concave shape so the baby won't roll around and there are mirrors above to to keep baby occupied.
My one concern about the changing space is that they need some sort of cushion on the top part because my baby (and assuming other babies) kick off the bottom and I'm afraid that she will hit her head above her.
The family room also has feeding areas that are private and closed off by a curtain. They have a nice chair to sit in and the lights are dimmed.
They have a little room with some toys and a TV where they play movies.
I'm sure that this place is swamped during the weekends. I was lucky to hit it up during the day when there was no one but me and my baby!
Love that they have this place at the mall.. it's great for moms!

Decent mall with your average affordable stores and department stores. I usually go to this mall for H&M, Forever 21, and Nordstrom. These stores are pretty big in size with a nice variety of selections. Though, I have been to larger locations, but this place is nice for a quick stop to get my shop on.
Plenty of parking, restaurants, and conveniently located right off the freeway.
