Mission Beach

Mission Beach is popular for bicycling, roller skating, swimming, surfing, and volleyball. The boardwalk is a popular place to see people, especially at night. There are a few more beaches around San Diego that has a boardwalk along the beach, but boardwalk at Mission Beach is the most popular. There are always plenty of vendors along the beach that sell everything from hotdogs to skateboards. Right behind the beach there is Belmont Park a home for Big Dipper Roller Coaster that twists and turns not far from the water's edge, and The Plunge swimming pool creates a splash on wild, wet side.
